No. 83 – Turquoise filet

By | 29th March 2017

Welcome back to the Art of Crochet blog!

This week it’s all about Turquoise. Our square starts off as an innocent granny square, with a row of double crochets, then the fourth round is where the filet action starts. 83 - 1

‘Filet’ – think French, not like a fillet of fish – is a a kind of lace worked in rows with lots of square holes. This filet pattern is simply worked by making a chain and missing a stitch in between trebles. 83 - 2Here’s a film of my progress, see you next week.

Happy crocheting,
Katy x
