No. 100 – Half-treble eyelets

By | 26th July 2017

Welcome back to the Art of Crochet blog!

This is issue 100 — yes, you read right, our one-hundredth video! I’m finding it hard to believe that we’ve crocheted that many squares and of course when you work it out we haven’t really. Some of the issues have concentrated on the edging and sewing together of squares, so the whole throw will comprise 112 squares in the end.

I digress, so back to the square in hand which is worked in the lovely Teal in a combination of double, treble and half-treble crochets.100 - 1The first 2 rounds are in trebles, then the 3rd is double crochet. The 4th round is in half-trebles that skip a stitch, creating a series of eyelets, much like the filet crochet we have done before.  100 - 2

Here’s a film of the making of Square 100.

Happy crocheting,
Katy x
